Rusty Clydebank Fail to Impress

The Clydebank 1st XV took on league leaders Cumbernauld at home and were looking to repeat the earlier win at the beginning of the season.  However, Cumbernauld were well prepared for the match and ground out a win of 0-7.  Clydebank take the consolation of a losing bonus point but can only rue the mistakes that gave Cumbernauld the chance to score.

Misery at Millbrae

The Clydebank 1st XV travelled to Ayr to play Millbrae, an experienced team that Clydebank has been several times before.  However, this time the Millbrae veterans brought all their experience to bare and swept away an uninspiring Clydebank team to win 32-7.

The Clydebank U15’s played Allan Glens on Sunday but lost out by 10-32.

The Clydebank and Lomond Minis travelled to Glasgow Accies to play in a four club tournament including Accies, Allan Glens and Garnock.  The kids from both clubs competed well against more experienced clubs and enjoyed themselves in a number of matches.
